Activities

While the island’s wilder side invites you to immerse yourself in nature among birds and century-old trees, the family beach, the playground, the Yvoir Nautic pontoon, the Chill & Relax area and the brasserie with its terrace give you access to a wide range of leisure activities. Paddling pool, water skiing, inflatable rides, playground, kayak hire, pedal boats or stand-up paddleboarding: it is up to you to choose how you make the most of the River Meuse.

Practical Information

Do you need to pay an entrance fee to access the island?

The entrance fee, which includes the return boat crossing of the Meuse for the day, is €3 for adults aged 12 and over. Your ticket gives you access to all the island’s facilities, including the playground, paddling pool, terraces and restaurant.

How do you get to the island?

L'île d'Yvoir is located in the province of Namur along the River Meuse, 16 km from the city of Namur and 6 km from Dinant. The island can be reached by car, train or bus. Once you arrive opposite the island, simply take our automated water ferry, which links the island to the right bank of the Meuse in less than 2 minutes.

Can you bring your own food and drinks onto the island?

Drinks and picnics brought in from outside the island are not allowed.

Is the island suitable for children?

Absolutely. Everyone can access the island. However, we strongly recommend that children under 12 are accompanied by their parents.

What are the opening hours?

Every day, from 11 am to 10 pm, non-stop.
