The entrance fee, which includes the boat crossing of the Meuse for the day, is €3 for adults aged 12 and over. Your ticket gives you access to all the island’s facilities, including the playground, the pool, the terraces and the restaurant.
Please note that payment for the crossing must be made in cash.
L’île d'Yvoir is located in the province of Namur, along the Meuse, 16 km from the city of Namur and 6 km from Dinant. This stretch of land can be reached by electrically powered boat from the Yvoir side. You can get to the riverbank by car, train or bus.
We welcome visitors from mid-April to the end of September, every day from 11 am until the evening. For opening hours, please check the homepage of our website. You can also contact us at any time.
We do not have a private car park, but you will easily find places to park just a short walk from the embarkation point for the electrically powered boat.
The success of our nautical stopover speaks for itself. Among others, you may meet German visitors travelling to France via the Meuse and Dutch visitors returning to the north of their country via the Sambre and Brussels. More and more nationalities meet here.
The nautical stopover allows boats to moor for a few days, with access to connections such as water, electricity and sanitary facilities. Boaters also enjoy free access to all the island’s facilities.
Price per boat and per night: please enquire at the harbour office.
Speedboats and jet skis can moor during the day on the eastern side of the island, next to the speed course that starts from L’île d’Yvoir. You can therefore enjoy your sport freely, without disturbing boaters, and to everyone’s visual delight. Price: free.
